West Midlands Police missing persons officer Detective Sergeant Andrew Padmore told a trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court that defendant Brian Timmins changed in manner "when the horrible realisation" struck him.

Missing labourer David Willis was last seen alive at Timmins Waste Services in Wolverhampton and failed to return home to Tipton on September 15, 2018.

The company based in Mander Street, Merridale, and yard manager Timmins, aged 53, of Fair Lawn, Albrighton, are accused of his manslaughter under the Health and Safety at Work Act.
