Burglar with 'diabolical' criminal record jailed again and urged to turn his life around
A prolific Black Country burglar and car thief with a 'diabolical' criminal record has been jailed again.
Reece Parkes, previously locked up for attacking a homeowner with an axe, was jailed for 28 months at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Thursday for a string of offences across Sandwell and Dudley.
Judge Patrick Upward KC told him: "You have a diabolical criminal record. But this sentence will still give you a chance to turn round your life when you are released.
"You are being jailed for 28 months for the various charges. You need to reflect on your actions and change your ways."
Speaking from HMP Featherstone on a link, Parkes said: "Thank you judge, thank you very much."
