Dramatic footage shows armed police storming house to bring 24-hour siege to an end
Dramatic footage has emerged purportedly showing the moment armed police stormed a house in Wolverhampton to bring a 24-hour siege to an end.
The footage, captured from a distance, appears to show a row of firearms officers filing into the house in Wednesfield as a series of loud bangs echo through the air.
It concluded a siege that had lasted for almost 24-hours with a man barricaded inside the property on Moathouse Lane since 1pm on Friday.
Specialist firearms officers moved in just after 12.35pm and detained the 38-year-old man.
