Man pleads guilty to killing 'loving and caring' Wolverhampton grandmother
A man has admitted killing a Wolverhampton grandmother in her own home.
Fifty-year-old Sara Bateman - described as "loving and caring mum, sister and nan" - was found found dead at a flat in Willenhall Road in Wolverhampton on March 30.
Matthew Hyde, the man responsible for taking her life, initially pleaded not guilty to the charge in an earlier hearing in June.
He had been due to stand trial before a jury.
