'Aggressive' woman crashed car while drunk before hitting police officer in face
A woman has admitted crashing her BMW while drunk and then assaulting two police officers, while 'shouting about Magna Carta'.
Nicola Julie Sharratt, 44, of Teasdale Way, Stourbridge, pleaded guilty to five charges when she appeared at Telford Magistrates Court.
All five related to an incident in Bridgnorth on July 17 – they included two counts of assault on an emergency worker, one charge of failing to provide a specimen, one count of criminal damage, and one charge of using threatening or abusive words to cause harassment or distress.
Neil Baki, prosecuting, described the case as a "series of unfortunate incidents".
He told the court police had been called to a car crash at Cross Houses on Ludlow Road where a white BMW had come to a rest in a front garden.
