Wolverhampton street taped off as armed police storm flat
An armed police raid on a block of flats brought a Wolverhampton neighbourhood to a standstill.

The area around Guy Avenue and Luce Road, in Fallings Park, was taped off and a number of armed officers seen around the block of flats in the raid, which happened around 4.15pm on Monday.

Eyewitnesses at the scene said they saw a number of cars sitting with people inside them before a couple of police cars and a dog unit arrived at the scene. Shortly afterwards several armed officers entered the block of flats.
It is believed that a man was led out of one of the flats and taken away in a police car, while the area was taped off and armed officers remained in place.
