Police insist they are doing all they can to investigate death of Wolverhampton father
Police have said they are doing all they can to investigate the circumstances of the death of a father who was found on a road in Wolverhampton.
West Midlands Police has been criticised by friends and close family of Michael Bland, aged 49, who was found in Old Hill, Tettenhall, on April 28.
Police initially thought Mr Bland, who grew up in Parkfields but had lived in Tettenhall for a number of years, had fallen and banged his head.
But the family felt they didn't investigate the circumstances until a few days later when the post-mortem examination revealed he may have been hit by a car.
