Man facing retrial accused of murdering woman in Staffordshire
The retrial of a man charged with the murder of a woman in Staffordshire is due to start today.
Lucy Clews, aged 39, was found with multiple stab wounds by Staffordshire Police officers at her home, in Bath Road, in West Chadsmoor, on December 29, 2021 after her family reported concerns for her welfare.
Thomas Grant, 26, of no fixed address, denies murdering Mrs Clews.
He is standing trial at Stafford Crown Court.
