Illegal puppy breeder taken to court after advertising dogs online
A woman who illegally sold puppies, publishing adverts for them online, has found herself in court.
Jacqueline Dowling must pay out more than £2,700 after she admitted breeding and advertising dogs for sale without a licence between February 2020 and August last year.
The 50-year-old, of Smallshire Way in Wordsley, Stourbridge, admitted running the illegal business when she appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court on Wednesday, May 10.
Dudley Council prosecuted Dowling who was breeding, advertising and selling primarily English and French Bulldogs, which was used as evidence to show she was operating a business and needed a licence.
