Car dealership fined £666 for not identifying driver in road offence
A used car dealership has been fined after failing to identify a driver after a road offence.
Top Cars Telford Ltd, based at Heath Hill industrial estate in Dawley, did not disclose the driver's details after an offence was committed in a Mercedes in Worcester on November 7 last year.
Anjum Gill, director, pleaded guilty at Worcester Magistrates Court on behalf of the firm.
A bench of three magistrates fined Top Cars £666. Court costs of £136 and a victim surcharge of £266 must also be paid by Top Cars.
