Suspect due in court for dangerous driving charge after Smethwick crash
A 22-year-old suspect is due to appear before magistrates after a two-car crash in Smethwick resulting in a road being closed.
The collision happened in Fenton Street near its junction with the A457 Tollhouse Way on Sunday. The collision happened near the traffic island on Sunday resulting in the road closure between Oldbury Road and St Paul's Road.
West Midlands Police said it has charged Elton Loka, of no fixed abode, with offences of dangerous driving, failing to stop and having no insurance following the incident.
No-one was seriously hurt.
He is due to face the allegations at Walsall Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
