Teenager arrested after stabbing in Sutton Coldfield

A fight broke out on Park Road at around 5.30pm on Monday and spilled onto Garrard Gardens and Fawdry Close.

A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in police custody.

Birmingham Police said officers will be carrying out patrols in the area and around the park to offer reassurance to the community.
