Police investigating after man 'knifed across neck' in Wolverhampton
Police are investigating after a man was "knifed across the neck" in Wolverhampton.
Officers were called to Robert Wynd in the Woodcross area of Wolverhampton at around 4.40pm on Monday where a man was attacked.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to an assault with intent to rob in Robert Wynd, Bilston, at around 4.40pm on Monday.
"A man was assaulted and left with minor injuries.
"Investigations are ongoing to identify any suspects.

An anonymous social media post purporting to be from the victim's spouse and posted to Facebook groups said: "My husband has just been attacked at the corner of Robert Wynd and Childs Avenue on the little patch of grass.
"He knifed my husband across the neck. And left him with swollen eye. Happened around 4.50pm. Police have been informed."
