Prolific car thief found in possession of machete in Smethwick
Police officers arrested a prolific car thief and found a machete in his possession.
Smethwick Police praised the officers involved in the arrest over the weekend.
Smethwick Police tweeted on Saturday night: "Brilliant work by Smethwick NHT officers tackling vehicle crime.
"Prolific offender arrested for theft of motor vehicles and burglaries in the Smethwick and Dudley area."
They added: "When arrested this machete was found in his possession."
