Smethwick chop shop unearthed and two people arrested thanks to tip-off
Police have unearthed a chop shop in the Black Country in a raid following a tip-off about illegal activity.
The building, in Smethwick, was being used to dismantle stolen vehicles.
Following a tip-off on August 11, police obtained an emergency warrant to raid the premises.
Officers from Smethwick Police were joined by WMP Traffic Unit just three hours later for the raid.
Inside, officers found stolen vehicles and parts with two people arrested at the scene.
