Walsall teenager arrested on suspicion of right wing terrorism offences
A teenager from Walsall has been arrested in connection with alleged right wing terrorism offences.
The 19-year-old was arrested on Monday night in the Winsford area of Cheshire and transported to the West Midlands to be interviewed by detectives from Counter Terrorism Policing West Midlands CTU.
He has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a document likely to be of use to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, contrary to S58 of Terrorism Act 2000.
The arrest was intelligence led and police said there was no immediate threat to the safety of the public.
