Man denies attempting to kill ex-partner in Walsall
A trial date has been set for a man accused of attempting to kill his ex-partner in Walsall.
Jeremy Holness, 39, is accused of stabbing the woman at a property in Stafford Street, Birchills, on October 10 last year.
Holness denies attempted murder but at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Monday admitted wounding, possession of an offensive weapon and burglary.
Holness, of Stafford Street, was remanded in custody. The matter was adjourned until July for the trial.
