Alleged post office robbers in court over series of Black Country raids
Two men accused of carrying out a series of armed robberies at post offices have denied the allegations.
David Jones, 41, and Steven Hall, 43, both pleaded not guilty to an offence of conspiracy to rob when they appeared at Birmingham Crown Court on Wednesday.
The case relates to alleged incidents at branches in Lower Gornal, Wombourne, Bilston and Brierley Hill last month.
Jones, of Highland Road, Dudley, and Hall, of Church Street, Lower Gornal, were remanded in custody until the trial which will be held on July 25.
The branch at News Express, Lake Street, Lower Gornal near Dudley closed following an alleged incident shortly after 8am on February 14. Staff members activated the emergency alarm and called 999.
Police launched an appeal for witnesses.
