Man repeatedly punched by group outside shop in Smethwick
Police have launched an investigation after a man was repeatedly punched by several men outside a shop in Smethwick.
The man was assaulted in Hurst Road on Tuesday evening.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "We’re investigating an assault on Hurst Road, Smethwick at 7pm on Tuesday.
"A 38-year-old man was repeatedly punched by several men outside a shop.
"The suspects got into a car and hit the man’s car before driving off.
