Man, 21, appears in court over Lichfield rape allegation
A man has appeared before magistrates charged with raping a woman in Staffordshire.
Tyler Samuels, aged 21, faced charges of rape, criminal damage and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The charges relate to an incident when Staffordshire Police was called an address in Lichfield at 10.45pm on January 21 following reports that a woman had been raped and assaulted.
Samuels appeared before magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Monday and was remanded in custody.
