Twelve-year-old boy charged after machete is seized
A 12-year-old boy has been charged after a machete was seized in Dudley.
Officers from Brierley Hill Police Station were called to Dudley town centre on Monday, following reports of a male walking around in possession of a machete.
West Midlands Police tweeted on Monday to say officers responded to a report of someone in Dudley town centre with a machete.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police later said: "A 12-year-old boy, who can't be named for legal reasons, has been charged with possession of a knife in a public place."
The boy has been bailed to appear before Dudley Magistrates Court on Tuesday, April 27.
