Man, 23, arrested over stealing vehicle
A 23-year-old man from the Black Country was arrested for a number of offences in a Staffordshire town.
The man was detained in Church Street, Cannock, on suspicion of stealing motor vehicle, driving without a licence and having an offensive weapon.
The arrest took place at 3.20pm on Monday. He has since been released by officers as an investigation gets underway.
Cannock Police tweeted: "A man was arrested in Church Street, Cannock, at 3.20pm on Monday.
"The man, 23, from Walsall, was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle, driving a vehicle other than in accordance with a licence, and having an offensive weapon.
"He has been released under investigation."
