Man, 21, arrested in Birmingham on suspicion of terrorism offences
A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences.
Detectives from Counter Terrorism Policing West Midlands CTU arrested the man at a Birmingham address on Wednesday.
He was arrested on suspicion of collecting and disseminating terrorist publications under Section 58.
He has been taken to a police station in the West Midlands, where he remained in custody today.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "The arrest is part of an on-going proactive investigation and there is not believed to be any imminent threat to the public in relation to this.
"Enquiries continue."
