Man targeted in Bilston drive-by shooting escapes injury
A man in his 20s escaped injury after he was targeted during a drive-by shooting in the Black Country.
The victim was sat in a white BMW, on Great Bridge Road, Bilston, on Monday evening when he was shot at.
West Midlands Police say he was not injured while the shooter fled the scene in a vehicle.
The force has launched a probe into the incident including forensic examinations of the scene.
Officers have appealed for anyone with information or dash-cam footage to get in touch, quoting log number 3639 of January 18.
A spokesman for the force said: "We are investigating after shots were fired at a man in a white BMW in Great Bridge Road, Bilston, at just after 6.30pm on Monday.
"The man in his 20s was not injured and it is understood the offenders left the scene in a vehicle.
"The area remains sealed off as a forensic examination is carried out and enquiries continue."
