Boy, 16, appears in court after Dudley stabbing
A 16-year-old has been charged after another teenager was stabbed in Dudley.
The 17-year-old victim was found with injuries to his stomach in Wolverhampton Street at around 2.45pm on Monday.
He remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has since appeared in court charged with wounding with intent. He has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We have charged a 16-year-old boy with wounding with intent following a stabbing on Wolverhampton Street in Dudley at around 2.45pm on Monday.
"He appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning and has been remanded into custody until his appearance at Wolverhampton Youth Court on Wednesday, January 6.
"The victim is still in a serious but stable condition in hospital."
