Attempted murder arrest after boy, 17, critically injured in Dudley stabbing
A 16-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after another teenager was stabbed in Dudley.
The 17-year-old boy was found with injuries to his stomach in Wolverhampton Street at 2.45pm yesterday.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to a stabbing in Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, at around 2.45pm yesterday.
"A 17-year-old boy was found with injuries to his stomach and taken to hospital. He remains in a critical but stable condition.
"A 16-year-old boy was today arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody for questioning.

Claire Brown, spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called to reports of a stabbing at 2.38pm yesterday in Wolverhampton Street, Dudley.
"Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene and found a teenage boy with serious injuries. He was given emergency treatment on scene before being taken on blue lights to hospital for further care."
