Appeal after sledgehammer used in Wolverhampton burglary

A sledgehammer was used to smash a rear door before a home was burgled in Wolverhampton.

Mobile phones and a wallet were stolen during the home raid in Stowlawn on November 21.

Police have released an image of someone they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

Wolverhampton Police posted on Facebook saying: "We’re appealing for information following a house burglary in Stowlawn Wolverhampton.

"A sledgehammer was used to smash a rear door in Green Lanes, with mobile phones and a wallet taken during the early hours of 21 November.

"We appreciate this is not a clear image, but we’re hopeful someone may recognise this suspect in the distinctive looking jacket.
