Cut-throat razor seized in robbery arrest
Police recovered a cut-throat razor as they arrested a man on suspicion of robbery using a blade.
A member of the public was allegedly threatened on Tennyson Road, Small Heath, Birmingham, at about 4.40am on Sunday.
Officers later arrested a suspect on suspicion of robbery.
Force Response tweeted saying: "C team Stechford responded to a robbery in Small Heath, where the offender had a blade. A male matching the description was located during an area search... effective use of stop and search recovered the stolen property, a cut throat razor and a glass hammer. One in custody!"
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We arrested a man on suspicion of robbery at around 4.40am on Tennyson Road, Small Heath, after he allegedly threatened a member of the public and demanded money."
