Builder comes to rescue of pensioner during attempted robbery in Wolverhampton
A builder came to the rescue of a pensioner as a woman tried to rob her in Wolverhampton.
Police are trying to trace the victim, thought to be in her 80s or 90s, after the attempted robbery in Mount Road, Penn, on November 10.
Wolverhampton Police posted on Facebook saying: "Can you help our enquiries into the attempted robbery of an elderly woman in Mount Road, Penn, Wolverhampton, at about midday on Tuesday 10 November?
"It is understood a woman tried to rob the pensioner, thought to be in her 80s or 90s, but a kind-hearted builder stepped in and stopped anything from being taken.
"Our enquiries are ongoing but we need to find the elderly victim, who was white and believed to live locally, so she can help with our investigation.
