Burglars target Dudley funeral parlour in ram raid attack
Cash and jewellery were stolen after a Black Country funeral parlour was ram raided by burglars.
The premises of J W Marsh Funeral Directors Dudley were targeted by burglars, who forced their way into the parlour on High Oak in Pensnett.
The burglars stole rings belonging to a woman who had been buried, as well as other jewellery and cash from a safe.
A police investigation has begun into the burglary, which happened around midnight on Tuesday,.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We’re investigating after a funeral directors was targeted in a ram raid in High Oak, Pensnett, just before midnight .
"Burglars forced their way into the building before fleeing with cash and jewellery from a safe.
