Birmingham resident pleads guilty to attempted arson after flag burned at protest
A Birmingham resident has pleaded guilty to attempted arson after a flag was burned at a protest in June.
Astrophel Sang, 19, of Ravenhurst Street, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted arson at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
Sang will be sentenced at Southwark Crown Court on a date to be confirmed.
It follows an incident on the Cenotaph, Westminster, during a demonstration on June 7.
