Three charged after postman assaulted and mail stolen in Staffordshire
Three men have been charged after mail was stolen from a postman who was assaulted in Staffordshire.
The incident unfolded in the Tower View Road and Poplar Road area of Landywood at around 11.30am on Saturday, October 24.
The postman was pushed to the floor and a trolley of mail stolen.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "Craig Ramsay, 37, of Beakes Road, Smethwick, was charged with theft of mail in Tower View Road and assaulting the postman and remanded in custody.
"Thomas Smith, aged 30, of Meadow View, West Bromwich, was charged with theft and remanded in custody.
"A 17-year-old from Walsall, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with theft and bailed by the court."
