Man charged after machete found in garden
A man has been charged after claims he was waving around a machete in a street.
Armed officers responded to the threat in Ravenshill Road, Billesley, Birmingham, at around 3pm on Sunday.
It is also reported the man threatened others saying, "I'll cut you up".
Officers detained a man in an alleyway and recovered a machete, which had been discarded in a nearby garden.
Lee Lynch, of Colemeadow Road, in Billesley, has been charged with possessing a bladed weapon in public.
The 29-year-old remains in police custody and is expected to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow.
