Jury sworn in ahead of trial into Dudley woman's murder
Jurors have been sworn in ahead of a trial into the murder of 42-year-old woman whose remains were found near a Black Country industrial estate.
Nathan Maynard-Ellis, 29, of Mission Drive, Tipton, and David Leesley, 24, of Dereton Close, Dudley, both deny killing Julia Rawson.
Her remains were discovered in Tipton on June 12 last year - one month after she was last seen alive on May 12. Ms Rawson, of Green Park Road in Kates Hill, Dudley, was a former stallholder at Dudley Market.
The jury was sworn in on Tuesday ahead of the trial's anticipated opening on Wednesday morning.
Maynard-Ellis has also been charged with four counts of rape against a different alleged victim, alongside one count of attempted rape and threats to kill.
