Appeal after traffic warden assaulted in Wolverhampton

Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after a traffic warden was assaulted in Wolverhampton.

The traffic warden was assaulted on Bell Street just after 3pm on Saturday, July 11.

West Midlands Police officers have now released a photo of a man they want to speak to in connection with the assault.

A spokesman for the force said: "We want to speak to this man after a traffic warden was assaulted on Bell Street in Wolverhampton city centre just after 3pm on Saturday, July 11.

"We have been working through a number of enquiries to identify this man, but we need your help."

Anyone with information is urged to call West Midlands Police on 101, quoting incident reference 20WV/161609C/20.
