William Henry, aged 31, and Brian McIntosh, aged 29, were killed at the Albion Works industrial estate in Moor Street, Brierley Hill, on Wednesday.

Jonathon Houseman, of Quarry Park Road in Stourbridge, has now been charged with their murder.

The 32-year-old is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Houseman was arrested in Lancashire on Thursday morning after Mr Henry and Mr McIntosh, both from Bartley Green, were found dead at around 3pm on Wednesday.

The men were found in a Range Rover in a car park at the back of the industrial estate, near a canal, where they are thought to have been killed at around 1pm.

The families of the victims, who were both fathers, released emotional tributes via the police on Friday.

The family of Mr Henry, whose brother Matt is a West End actor and former finalist on the Voice, criticised the "gratuitous violence" that led to his death.

“Will was a much-loved dad, son, brother, uncle, partner and friend. He was loving and caring and always thought of others before himself. He was the light of our lives, his death has left a huge void in our lives," they said.

“He was a loving brother to his three sisters and three brothers. He was loved dearly by his whole family nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles and cousins."

The shooting was the third gun attack in three days in the Black Country following incidents in Wolverhampton and Cradley Heath.

Nobody was hurt in the first shooting which saw at least one bullet enter a classroom at City of Wolverhampton College, while a man was left critically injured after being shot in the arm and neck in Cradley Heath.

No arrests have been made in relation to either of those incidents.
