Man charged with attempted murder after Oldbury stabbing
A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Oldbury.
Gurvinder Toor, 26, of Latham Crescent, Tipton, appeared in court today after the incident at Kempsey Close, Oldbury, on Sunday.
The 31-year-old victim was treated for serious injuries at the scene before being taken to hospital.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Gurvinder Toor, of Latham Crescent in Tipton, has been charged with attempted murder following the stabbing of a 31-year-old man in Kempsey Close, Oldbury on Sunday.
"The unemployed 26-year-old, who was refused bail after being charged, is due to appear at court today."
Toor was remanded in custody until his next court appearance at a later date.
