Two murder arrests after man's body found at Birmingham property
Police have arrested two men on suspicion of murder after a body was found in the West Midlands.
The body of the man was discovered at a property in Strensham Road, Balsall Heath, Birmingham, at around 5.40am today.
His death is being treated as unexplained.
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remained in custody this afternoon.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "We are investigating after the body of a man in his 50s was found at an address in Balsall Heath today.
"We were alerted by ambulance service colleagues after the man was discovered at a property in Strensham Road at around 5.40am.
"His death is currently being treated as unexplained and a scene is in place while enquiries continue.
"Two men, aged 47 and 57 years old, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody for questioning."
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a cardiac arrest at a property in Strensham Road, Balsall Heath at 5.14am this morning.
"Two ambulances attended and sadly one man was confirmed deceased on scene."
