A man in a surgical mask robbed a bookies with a knife in Tipton.

Police have released images of a man they want to speak to after the robbery at Betfred on the High Street.

The man threatened a worker with a knife and stole about £140.

The robbery took place at about 8.30am on July 17.

Sandwell Police tweeted saying: "We’re appealing for information after a man in a surgical mask robbed a bookies in Tipton.

"It happened at around 8.30am on 17 July at Betfred on the High Street, Princes End.

"The suspect threatened the duty staff member with a knife and stole about £140.

"We’ve released some photos of the man we want to speak to. If you know who he is or have any other information please get in touch.
