Arsonists torch van on Cannock driveway

An appeal has been launched after a van was torched on a driveway in Staffordshire.

The Ford Custom Transit van was targeted by two arsonists in the early hours in Norton Grange Crescent, Norton Canes.

CCTV shows two people approaching the vehicle before pouring a liquid over it and setting it on fire.

The pair then fled the scene. The incident took place at around 2am on Friday, July 31.

Detective Constable Ken Cox, from Staffordshire Police CID, said: "We are determined to track those responsible down and we continue to carry out extensive enquiries in the local area.

“In addition, anyone who saw a white van acting suspiciously in the area at the time should get in touch, as we believe it could be linked to what happened.”
