Men charged after man beaten up in Birmingham city centre
Two more men have been charged over an attack where a man was beaten up on the street.
Footage of the attack in Birmingham city centre released by police showed the man being repeatedly hit by several men as he lay on the floor.
The 40-year-old victim had his wallet and keys stolen and was left with nasty head injuries after the attack which happened in Corporation Street at around 6pm on June 28.
A spokesman from West Midlands Police said: "Jermaine Williams, of Miranda Close in Rubery, was charged with assault and robbery last week.
"The 30-year-old has been bailed with conditions before his appearance at Birmingham Crown Court on August 5, having already appeared before Birmingham Magistrates.
"Kristian Haines, aged 27 and of Uplands Road in Handsworth, was charged with assault and has been bailed with conditions to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on August 6, following his appearance at Birmingham Magistrates Court last week.
"Previously, 19-year-old Ayham Yafai of no fixed address, was charged with assault and bailed after his appearance at Birmingham Magistrates Court on July 2. He is due to appear at Birmingham Crown Court next month.
"We are continuing to appeal for information and would urge anyone with information to come forward."
