43 cannabis plants found growing in Black Country shed

Dozens of cannabis plants were found growing during a raid on a house in the Black Country.

Intelligence officers from Ettingshall Police Station executed a warrant under the misuse of drugs act at a house on Miller Crescent in Woodcross, Coseley.

Officers found 43 cannabis plants growing in a shed at the property, which were then removed and destroyed.

No arrests have been made.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We executed a drugs warrant in Miller Crescent, Wolverhampton at 3.45pm on Thursday, July 16.

"About 43 cannabis plants were found in a shed at the property and were removed and destroyed.

"No arrests were made in connection with the drugs find and our enquiries continue.
