Police called to Coseley park after reports of man with weapon
Police were called to a Coseley park after a man was reportedly seen with a weapon.
A number of police cars were seen at Silver Jubilee Park this evening and residents reported seeing police dogs and a drone.
A post on Coseley Neighbourhood Watch Facebook page said: "Ongoing police incident on Jubilee Park which appears to be closed off."
One resident commented: "Police surrounding the entire perimeter, we saw three police cars but there was more towards the front, all looking into the park/in the park."
Another said: "We’ve just driven past and there are loads of police cars, police dogs all over the park and they’ve got the police drone up? Yet the park is still full of people?"
West Midlands Police has been asked to comment.
