Appeal after attempted burglary in Merry Hill

An attempted burglary has sparked a police appeal.

Police said there was an attempted burglary in Coppice Road, Merry Hill, Wolverhampton, at about 1pm on June 25.

The offender smashed a glass door but left empty handed after being disturbed.

Officers have now released an image of a person they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

Wolverhampton Police tweeted saying: "We know the image is grainy but we want to speak to this person about an attempted burglary at a home in Coppice Road, Merry Hill, at 1pm on June 25.

"The offender smashed glass in a door but was disturbed and left empty-handed. Contact Live Chat quoting 20WV/146789K/20."
