Murder arrest: Woman found dead in her Solihull flat is named
A woman who was found dead in her Solihull flat has been named as Kerry Woolley.
Kerry, 38, was found with fatal injuries to her neck at her flat on Warwick Road at around 3.20pm on Sunday.
A post mortem has revealed she died of an injury to her neck.
Detectives have today been given more time to question a 37-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder at the scene.
In a statement, Kerry's family said: “As a family this has devastated us. We would like to thank everyone for their support.
“We ask that we are now left alone to grieve in peace."
Detective Inspector Nick Barnes from the force CID team, said: “My thoughts are with Kerry’s family at this awful and upsetting time.
“Our investigations are continuing and I’d urge anyone who may have any information to contact us as soon as possible."
