Man stabbed in Birmingham city centre
A man has been taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries after being stabbed in Birmingham city centre.
Paramedics were called to Carrs Lane just after 10pm on Sunday.
Jamie Arrowsmith, spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called to reports of a stabbing on Carrs Lane at 10.01pm last night.
"One ambulance and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken to hospital for further assessment."
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to Carrs Lane, Birmingham, to reports a man had been stabbed at 10.45pm yesterday.
"The 38-year-old man’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
"CCTV is being reviewed and investigations continue to establish what happened.
