Man charged with carrying offensive weapon in Bilston
A man is set to appear in court after being charged for carrying a weapon in a Black Country street.
West Midlands Police were called to Woodcross Street, in the Bilston area of Wolverhampton, in the early hours of Wednesday.
Craig Miller was arrested and charged at the scene. He will appear in court next month.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "Craig Miller, of Robert Wynd in Bilston, has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon after being arrested in Woodcross Street at around 1am on Wednesday, July 1.
"The 29-year-old has been bailed before his court appearance at Walsall Magistrates Court on Thursday, August 6."
