Hate crime reports double across Stafford
A total of 80 incidents of hate crime have been reported over 12 months in Stafford, new figures show.

The crimes, which took place over the last financial year, represents a 100 per cent increase from 2018/2019.
Communities Against Crimes of Hate (CACH) said more than 50 hate crimes regarding race were reported.
The multi-agency partnership aims to stamp out hate crime nationally and locally – and support those affected.
A total of 38 people received verbal abuse – with 14 people in the borough being assaulted.
Council chiefs at Stafford Borough Council will discuss the figures at a cabinet meeting next week.
