Baseball bats and golf clubs found after reports of disorder in Black County street

Police seized a number of baseball bats and golf clubs on a street where disorder allegedly broke out today.

But officers found no signs of disorder after arriving at Brooke Street in Dudley just after 2pm

A member of public said approximately nine men were providing "armed guard" to a property on that road with "baseball bats and a steel crowbar".

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to an alleged disorder on Brooke Street in Dudley just after 2pm but on arrival no disorder was found.

"A number of bats and golf clubs were seized from the location as enquiries continue."
