Chief Constable Gareth Morgan said officers were starting to see a rise in anti-social behaviour amid coronavirus.
Mr Morgan said: "We are very alert to the emerging risks, especially for the vulnerable and young people as we emerge from lockdown.
"Since the onset of this crisis, the public's response has been extraordinary and the vast majority of people have followed the Government’s guidance, meaning that officers have rarely had to use their enforcement powers.
"However, we recognise that the lockdown has been tough on people, particularly young people, and we are beginning to see a rise in anti-social behaviour and are working proactively with local communities to tackle these issues with visible proactive policing being a priority."
